Aug 01, 2010 I just upgraded an older Dell Dimension 4600 desktop from. Dell Dimension Upgrade - No Audio Driver/PCI. How do i fix my multimedia audio controller. So, I got a Dell Dimension 4600. I installed Windows XP Home Edition, and it has Service Pack 3, but after I installed all the drivers it seems, Device Manager under, Other Devices, it lists two devices, Multimedia Audio Controller, and PCI Input Device. I looked through this forum seeing if there.

Step 1: Run “Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter”:
Step 2: Check status of hardware in Device Manager. And also check whether the device listed under “Unknown devices”.
a)To open Device Manger, click Start, click Run, and then type devmgmt.msc and press Enter key.
