Stability:

'I would recommend this driver as it did the trick. The install requires you to unzip 5 folders which are called disk 0,1,2,3,4,5. You will need all 5 of them for the display adapter for a windows 98 machine.'

'Works perfectly. Very simple to use. Create a folder in C:, name it video driver, click on icon that you download and install the contents to the video driver folder you just created. Shut computer down, install video card, turn computer on, and when Windows sees the card, just navigate to the video driver folder and open each of the five sub folders one by one. Reboot

'This driver installed easy and worked great. It installs the graphics drivers and the control panel. Ati (now owned by AMD) has discontinued many of it's legacy drivers, and unlike nVidia (many of their MX cards have a sort of 'universal' driver base... ATI Rage 128 GL AGP 2x on Windows 98SE.

Have to rename the file to have zip extension, then navigate to each subfolder that is requested during installation...so a bit of extra work, but worth it.

'I tried installing this file on a Dell PPL laptop which shows an ATI Rage Mobility AGP 4x video card. The installer says no adapter has been installed because no suitable driver can be found. This file did not work on my computer.'
